Emerald Depths – Fourth Version | 2025

An original emerald green textured abstract painting exploring the beauty of depth, colour and light. Rich shades of emerald green, darker undertones and subtle shimmering details create a sense of mystery, revealing new dimensions as the light moves across the surface.

This fourth version of Emerald Depths continues my exploration of the colours, textures and hidden depths of emerald gemstones. What fascinates me most is how their appearance changes depending on the light, revealing different shades, reflections and details.

Using my Depth technique, I build layers of acrylic paint mixed with my own custom medium, creating a richly textured foundation. Colours are then carefully blended across the surface, allowing darker and lighter tones to flow into one another while fine details gradually emerge.

The result is a contemporary abstract painting that feels different depending on where you stand and how the light falls, bringing depth, texture and a touch of nature into a space.
